Musician and Composer, Christina Stanley, needed some portraits for PR and a possible album cover. We talked about how she loved old movies, psychological thrillers like All About Eve and Vertigo. In some of her work she uses electronic sounds via Max/MSP. I pitched the idea of projecting film stills and Max/MSP screens over her. I’m so happy she went for it. We went for a non-literal approach. The projected images were texture just as much as they were content.

Washington DC. This is when it was under construction, 20 years ago. We didn’t use this setup –
looked too “talk show.”
